Client Overview:
Freedom House is a nonprofit organization that had advocated democratic values around the world since its inception in 1941 by leaders including Eleanor Roosevelt. It helped to sponsor Education for Democracy, a statement of principles that called on schools to impart on their students the importance of free society. In conjunction with Education for Democracy, Freedom House provides an annual survey chronicling the range of political systems throughout the world and the level of democracy in these systems.

Client Need:
A web site presence that can serve as an up-to-date source of both the annual survey's findings and its companion piece, the Map of Freedom - a map displaying color-coded representation of the levels of democratic freedom throughout the world.

Our Solution:
Democracy Web - a bold, cleanly designed site that provides summary content in an easy-to-read, printable format; a colorful, interactive map that gives users an instant representation of the varying levels of democracy in countries worldwide (ranging from green to red).
